Christies estate agents phoned today after the man who has made the offer of £360,000 came to look again. He has now accepted the front door, the extractor fans and the central heating/hot water. He has a part for the back door he has found which he will fit for £75. So with the removal of the sofas and bed this is £135. We would pay this. He is going to sign the contract next week. Completion i guess about christmas. I said this was acceptable. Can you confirm that you accept this?

John's father was more comfortable talking about old times but had not gone down as much as i had feared. They seemed pleased to see us all. i have booked the insurers breakdown to look and probably collect the car on the 2nd. There is an alfa specialist whose garage ten miles away who can repair.
